Pell City issues water warning

The City of Pell City has issued a warning to Pell City water customers.

Officials say a number of homes in the Oak Ridge and Mill Village communities have noticed cloudy or discolored water over the last few days. Pell City residents have been advised to monitor the water in their homes and businesses for discoloration. Discolored water should not be used for cooking or drinking, but is okay for baths or showers.

Customers should report any unusual water condition to the Pell City Water Department at (205) 338-2244, (205) 945-9240 or (205) 941-0600. The City says they will provide bottled water at no charge to affected customers.
