Alcohol sales plan finalized in Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - The Tuscaloosa City Council has finalized its plan for Sunday alcohol sales. Tuesday night's vote was the final step following the successful referendum last week.

The new rules allow any business with a liquor license to sell on Sundays between noon and 9:30 p.m. The other rules for selling alcohol are the same as during the rest of the week.

With the revisions to the alcohol ordinance in place, Tuscaloosa businesses can sell alcohol starting this Sunday.
