Two dead after motorcycle accident in Shelby County

VANDIVER, AL (WBRC) – Two people are dead after being involved in a motorcycle wreck in Shelby County say authorities from the Department of Public Safety.

48-year-old James Durehl Graves and 44-year-old Ida Poarch Graves were killed when involved in a wreck on their 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The accident happened on County Road 55 around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday.

James Graves was transported to UAB Hospital before being pronounced dead. Ida Graves was pronounced dead at the scene.
