Two shot in morning altercation

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham police say two people were shot on the 1100 block of Second Court West around 8:30 on Friday morning.

One person's injuries are being reported as non-life threatening. The other victim remains in surgery at UAB Hospital.

There is no word on what caused the altercation.
