Suspicious letter sent to federal building under investigation

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Authorities are investigating a suspicious letter sent to the Vance Federal Building in downtown Birmingham Monday.

A hazmat team was called to the building after an employee opened the letter and found a white powder inside.

The powder was sent off for testing. No one was hurt.
