Person hit on Interstate 65

HOOVER, AL (WBRC) - A man was in critical condition Thursday morning after being hit by a car on Interstate 65.

Police said the unidentified man was hit just before 11 a.m. on I-65 North at the I-459 junction.

The victim was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment. Authorities said the incident was under investigation.
