GADSDEN, AL (WBRC) - An arrest has been made in the murder case of a teenager from Gadsden.
17-year-old Travis Lamar Wilson was arrested overnight in Huntington, West Virginia. He is accused of killing 17-year-old Chris Hoyt.
Hoyt was a student at Gadsden City High School. He was shot and killed at Grant Avenue in east Gadsden.
Police say Hoyt had just left a party.
Wilson is in West Virginia awaiting an extradition hearing that is expected to happen Monday.
