Hoover man sentenced to death

HOOVER, AL (WBRC) - A Hoover man has been sentenced to death for raping and killing a Birmingham teen.

In December, a jury convicted Justin White of killing Jasmine Parker in July 2006.

On Thursday, Jefferson County Judge Clyde Jones overturned a jury's recommended sentence of life without parole and sentenced him to death in spite of his tears.

White is already serving a life sentence for killing UAB nursing student Sierra Black just three months after killing Parker.
